How do I access and use The Invigilator Web? (Grades 8 to 12)

Learners in Grades 8 to 12 use The Invigilator Web to complete online assessments. All invigilation takes place via the browser-based platform — no app download is required (Only the Agent that needs to be installed).

Step 1: Access The Invigilator Web
Go to https://web.invigilator.app in your browser.

Step 2: Register
You only need to register once. Click on “Register as a Student”, complete your details, and click “Signup”. You can log in on both the Invigilator Web and the Invigilator Mobile app using the same login details.

Struggling to register?
Check that you are using your Impaq email address.
Check that your two email address blocks and password blocks are exact matches.
Check that you are connected to the internet.

Step 3: Verify your account
A confirmation code will be sent to your Impaq email address. Enter the code in the app and click “Verify”.

Not receiving your confirmation code?
Check your spam/junk mail.
Click on the resend button at the bottom of the confirmation screen.
If you are still having trouble, select “Send verification pin to my cellphone”.

Step 4: Install the Invigilator Agent
After logging in, the platform will prompt you to install the Invigilator Agent on your device. Click “Click here for the setup guide” and follow the instructions for your device type (Windows or Mac). Once installed, you will see “Invigilator Agent Connected” on your screen.

Step 5: Complete the demo test
Before your first assessment, complete the 15-minute demo test to familiarise yourself with The Invigilator Web. Your teacher will provide the exam access code. It is important to do the demo test well in advance of your assessment.

During an assessment
The Invigilator Web monitors your session at random intervals by requesting selfies, recording audio, recording video, and capturing your screen. Do not exit the browser during your assessment. You may minimise it or open a new tab to access OLP.
