Upon registration, the parent/legal guardian may select a tutor from the drop-down list provided during registration. Alternatively, a tutor linking/unlinking form can be completed and submitted to
info@impaq.co.za. The form can be found on the
Optimi Learning Portal under Resources > General Documents > Current Academic Year > Administrative Changes. The linking/unlinking can take up to 2 working days.
Tutors linked to a child's profile can assist parents with:
- the downloading of tests, tasks, exams and memos (where applicable)
- capturing of marks
- generate a report card
Tutors may not take over any responsibilities from a parent and cannot be held responsible for the child's education. The parent/legal guardian remains responsible for the child's education, as per the policy on home education.
The agreement between a tutor and a parent remains separate from the agreement between a parent and Impaq. Impaq does not own, manage or monitor any tutors. Tutor businesses are independent businesses.
