Grade R to 9
All tasks, tests, and exams up until Grade 9 can be done at home under the supervision of the parent. As the parent of a Grade R to 9 learner, you are the primary person responsible for your child’s education when choosing homeschooling. The marking of tasks, tests, and exams as well as the capturing of marks on our electronic portals may therefore be done by you.
Please note that learners in Grade 1 to 9 fall under the compulsory school-going ages in South Africa and, therefore, parents are required to register these learners with the Department of Education. You can do this free registration at the following link:

Grade 10 to 12
Before registering a learner for the FET Phase, please ensure that you have read and understood the
Critical Enrolment Information. Grade 10 to 12 tasks can mainly be done at home, but tests and exams need to be written with an Impaq-approved invigilator, and some of the practical tasks for certain subjects as well as orals need to be completed with an approved assessor. Please refer to the
Subject Requirements before registering.
